CNC Joins the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association

In September 2005, CNC joined the Pennsylvania Land Trust Association (PALTA), an association of over 70 Pennsylvania conservations organizations like CNC dedicated to protecting Pennsylvania's special places and landscapes for today and for generations to come. PALTA and its members strive to increase the quality and pace of land conservation by helping conservation practitioners improve their effectiveness, building public understanding, and advocating better governmental policy.
By joining PALTA, CNC can access resources such as: PALTA newsletters, conferences, and workshops, model documents for land preservation and related issues (ex: model easements), technical consulting to improve organizational effectiveness, and technical advisory bulletins.
